I really love the picture of the 10 day old mourning dove. When did you take it and how did you get so close. What does a mourning dove nest look like? I couldn't figure out why my feeders are always empty. I found out. I have 27 mourning doves eating at them. They are kind of hogging all the food!

I just walked right up! Shocked A little dove talk, and they let me take pics! Pigeon Mourning dove nests are just a flat bed of twigs.

Are the nests up high or low? I want to see one too! I love the little baby one. How many eggs do they lay? Are they related to pigeons?

I really like to hear their calls in the mornings...

They're really pretty birds. Smile
